Christine Gall

Christine Gall is a native New Yorker. She was born in what many call the center of the world, at Harlem Hospital. Ms. Gall, since then, settled in the Borough of the Bronx.

Ms. Gall is a proud mother of two girls. Between them, they made her a grandmother of five; three boys and two girls.

"The loves of my life are my Computer, Camcorder and Teaching Preschool Children," Christine said vigorously. It began with a home business using her computer to make Birthday, assorted Picture Cards, Logos and Flyers.

Christine carried these skills into the child care arena where she was an instructor. At the community Day Care Center she taught pre-school children how to use the computers on location. She instructed the 3 to 5 year olds how to cut the computer and computer monitors on and off. She also taught them how to find various Programs they enjoyed using.

Ms. Gall is a self taught designer. She became interested in Multi-media while taking pictures all of the time with her Digital Camera and camcorder. She wanted to Video-tape everything she saw in and out of New York City. She also studied and taught herself how to edit movies on computers with music and special effects. The completed editing project is transferred to a VCD, (video cd) or DVD.

Because of the increasing demand for video work and Christine’s desire to develop top quality products, she devoted a year to learn how to produce superior quality Videos. She learned how to make Customized Digital Photo Music Sideshows, DV- AVI's and MPEG's I and II, Multi Media Movies, titles, Music and sound effects.

One of Ms. Gall’s current projects is to document ongoing footage of the Bronx and the changing face of Harlem! She says,” pictures and videos can be used as a tool for learning and teaching Multi-Cultural History and Art to everyone, in a fun way.”

Christine indicates that her future goal is to use her skills and knowledge to help people in disadvantage communities; To teach the young and old how to understand and use Computers and The Multi-Media more effectively. “I am very happy to be part of the CDE Multimedia Department,” she said. “At CDE I have the opportunity to learn, share and grow in this multi-cultural company environment.” Here I can use my expertise to aid the disabled community in their quest in becoming connected with the world at large; even though they cannot do it under unsupervised circumstances.” “Here at CDE we create and integrate advantages to advance the disadvantage.
