Francis Apparicio is a native New Yorker. He was born in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Ever since his younger days he has been interested in art and electronics. He spend much of his time creating constructive toys and adult items. This led to reading technical manuals, and building unique projects.
During high school he developed an interest for music and related equipment. The world of entertainment was something he gyrated toward without hesitation. Computers are an intricate part of the musical world, so learning to operate them became a necessity. Ultimately, Francis incorporated his learned computer skills with his personal entertainment enterprise of DJing.
Francis graduated from Edward R. Morrow high school. Programs: He participated in were Basic computers at the lighthouse ; Advance computers part 1 and two at Barouche College; Business training tools at the Jewish Guild for the Blind and Introduction to the Internet at Visions Center for the Disabled.
Francis is also interested in martial arts and computer web designing. In his Marshal arts training he assist others in learning physical endurance and positive reinforcement. This is a challenge for both of them. It builds their stamina and in turn teaches him patience and temperance in his approach towards teaching.
Francis believes that access to custom music and musical information is difficult for many disabled and non disabled people to acquire. Even though, he says, “I believe everyone should be able to hear what they like, when they like to hear it. As a multi-media designer with CDE Incorporated I intend to help those without the necessary tools to have access to an extensive library of electronic books, audio , effects and personally recorded media.
